Comic

Comment: This was not drawn by me. This was drawn by the amazing Xak. It is a very flattering portrayal of me firing my favorite shotgun, the SPAS 12. The color and shading on this took forever but it really turned out well. When I am working with Xak's lineart I feel a lot better about my digital skills. It makes me wish I still had a working Wacom tablet.

It's now 22:42, or 10:42 PM, and I just got done with the comic. The script is one I like, but my art skills weren't at their best tonight. It took me six tries to draw DOS and not make him look like a grey and white turd. I'm terribly sorry for the delay, but it is still Thursday (in my part of the world, at least). I hope you'll let it slide this time.

God, it's 1:40 AM and I don't have a script I like. I think the comic will get posted sometime in the afternoon, after my classes, more specifically. I'm sorry to do this to you, but my talent is totally uncooperative tonight.

The Saturday fillers are back. I've added another comic for August 3. I hope I can get back onto some sort of schedule. School starts soon and I pray I can get stuff drawn. World of Warcraft, on loan from the talented Xak, has been really bad for In the Shadow of. My troll is level 21 and fishes more then I ought to. I'm Yarjin on the Beta server, btw, if you want to come bash some stuff on the head with me. Maybe school, ITSO and WoW can learn to share Skaught together in harmony. Wait... damn... I have a girlfriend to keep happy too. I'm boned.

Ok, it's been over a month since the last update. I'm sorry about that. I won't get into the particulars about why I lost touch with the site, but the biggest two reasons was a massive computer failure and my hectic work schedule. I have now quit work and gotten pretty much back up to speed from the crash, so here we go again. You'll notice that I've taken down the Saturday fillers. Don't worry, they'll go back up once I've back filled in on the weekly comics some.

It's 2:27 AM and I just got done with the comic. I hope you like it, cause it was alot of fricking work. For those of you who have much history with me, you probably recognize Tess' pants. I won't go into the details of how I came up with these pants, although I will say they came to me in a dream. When considering how someone would wear them with such large slices taken out of the hips, just think of it like this: Tess is not trying to hide her little thong, the pants aren't going to protect her ass and crotch from the prying eyes of Stareannosauruses but they get in the way enough to make what they enclose to be interesting. Encourage interest by implying that the desired territory is off limits.
